AT LAST!

101 Days of Unemployment, 86+ Resumes Sent, $271.08 left, and ::drum roll, please::

I have an interview! Send your prayers, good vibes, break-a-legs, (or whatever your religious views permit) my way!

In typical interview fashion, I will spend most of the day researching the company, re-doing my hair, practicing my shake-‘n-smile, and dancing along to Michael Jackson videos.

I’ll let you know if it’s a break or a bust!

HOW DO YOU PUMP YOURSELF UP FOR AN INTERVIEW?

  1. Where's the love, city girls?! Well, I did and re-did my hair about 14 times, changed suits 4 times, and showed up 20 minutes early to my interview. After sitting through an episode of Brook Knows Best in the waiting room, a girl half my age, in jeans an flip flops walked me back to meet my interviewer. I felt like a giant next to this girl! The interviewer was also a fraction of my age, and as she bounced into the room wearing trendy party clothes, I couldn't help feeling like a washed up, overdressed nun. I should've worn a low cut V-neck, chewed pink bubble gum and talked about Twilight.

But there's good news. I have another interview set up for Tuesday. This time I'm plunging the neckline, hoisting up the girls, and knocking a few jobs off the resume.
